COMEXUS scholarship programs

Dear English Instructor,


The Language Department extends an invitation from the Comisión México-Estados Unidos para el Intercambio Educativo y Cultural (COMEXUS) to participate in its programs: Foreign Language Teaching Assistant and Distinguished Fulbright Award in Teaching. Please read the information below and visit the links to know more about the programs and their registration processes.


Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA)
The FLTA is offered to teachers, ages 29 and under with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in public or private schools. Candidates must be able to live for 9 months (2 academic semesters) in the United States and work as Teacher Assistants of Spanish in a university.

Distinguished Fulbright Award in Teaching (DAT)
The DAT is offered to teachers of all subjects with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in any educational level. Candidates must be able to live for one semester in the United States and they will be offered to study some postgraduate courses at a university.
